New Process, approval needed.
Originating through the HR hiring processes, once a new hire has accepted the assignment for a current open position, the HR representative associated with the new hire will notify the research analyst of the change. Name and position number, as well as any other pertinent information required by SIS, will be entered into SIS to update the HR tree.
Changes that require college and State Board approval may be derived from a variety of internal and external sources. These ideas deserve consideration and input from multiple areas. Once an idea has been documented in a formal and professional proposal, it should be presented to the following areas for consideration and input:
-Faculty leadership, to determine further consideration and input from the faculty
-Staff leadership, to determine further consideration and input from the staff
-Administrative council
All considerations and input from these groups should be used as a means to determine whether the proposal should be amended for approval or stopped altogether. If the originator (or representative thereof) of the proposal moves for approval, the person(s) will present the proposal to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT). The ELT will make the final determination whether the proposal will move forward to the college and State Board for consideration of approval.
